We teased you last week promising full coverage of the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour just as the Motor Trend Channel’s video editing team was putting the finishing touches on the installments. Well, if you’re a fan of American muscle, consider your patience rewarded. Below is coverage of days 1-6 of the 2013 Hot Rod Power Tour, from the kickoff in Arlington, Texas, all the way to Chattanooga, Tennessee, with Hot Rod Radio host Dennis Pittsenbarger driving some cool machinery, and giving you a taste of the local flavor along this year’s Power Tour route.
Dennis finds some cool restomod rides at the show, including a Plymouth Duster with a late-model 6.1 Hemi swap, gets rained out by an infamous Southern thunderstorm, and even witnesses a Power Tour marriage proposal on Memphis’ historic Beale Street!
On the leg of the Power Tour between Memphis and Birmingham, Alabama, Dennis stumbles upon the personal collection of power boat champion David Woods, which includes an impressive collection of pristine vintage muscle, and some of Woods’ championship boats.
You never know what could happen on Power Tour, but no matter what, it’s always fun. Check out our full coverage of the tour in the videos below!
