Feature Flick: WOT Video Gets In-Depth Look at 2013 SRT Viper

The Viper is back—with a few changes. The supercar returns as the 2013 SRT Viper, which slithered its way on stage at the New York auto show this week. Jessi Lang gives viewers an close-up look at the mighty serpent on this week’s episode of Wide Open Throttle.

Lang describes how the SRT team was able to keep the car’s raw high-performance attitude – including its mighty V-10 engine and evolutionary shape – while updating it to meet modern sports car standards with a richer interior.

After checking out the new Viper, Scott Evans heads to Detroit to interview SRT President and CEO Ralph Gilles about the philosophy behind the new car. Gilles says the team improved every performance aspect of the iconic sports car and hopes to lure new buyers without alienating its current fan base.
