Feature Flick: Watch the World’s Largest Gathering of LFAs, Ever

L stands for both Lexus and for LFA. It also stands for Laguna Seca, and the video below shows all three in what has been dubbed the world’s largest gathering of Lexus LFA supercars.

The 48-second video below was shot at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in California, where Lexus staged what it eventually called the world’s largest LFA owners event. The video shows 14 LFAs leaving the paddock, although a follow-up static photo by Lexus shows 16 (Lexus says 13 were owner cars and 3 were corporate cars loaned to LFA owners). Of those 16 cars, we count three Nurburgring Edition models, given away by their fixed rear wings and front bumper canards.

While that’s not that many cars–you could get more Toyota Camrys together by accident in a mall parking lot–the LFA’s production run is just 500 cars, so you’re looking at exactly 3.2 percent of all LFAs that will be publically sold on earth, and 6 percent of all LFA Nurburgrings. It’s also about 8856 horsepower and at least $6,225,000–not shabby for 48 seconds on screen.

Check out the photos and video below and let us know what you think.
