Kia has focused lots of attention on the technology stuffed into its new Quoris sedan, and now the automaker has released two videos of the rear-drive flagship to showcase a few of the high-tech features.
The first video shows off much of what we already know will be offered in the Quoris such as LED taillights, full LED headlights, a power rear sunshade, and power-folding mirrors. Another premium feature not found on other Kias are “soft-close” doors. In the second clip, the Quoris is out on the road showcasing items that will keep you safe including a head-up display and blind-spot monitoring. Finally, Kia released a set of new photos including one of a steering wheel-mounted menu dial with haptic feedback, which might be an industry first.
The Quoris is on sale in Korea (as the K9) and Kia plans to sell it in other markets later this year. The automaker still hasn’t confirmed whether it will sell the flagship in the U.S., but a few Quoris sedans spotted in California earlier this year suggest that the idea may be under consideration. As previously reported, a 3.8-liter V-6 rated at 286 hp mated to an eight-speed automatic will be among the powertrain choices offered.

Next month’s Los Angeles auto show is fast approaching and a report by Automotive.com provides details of what we can expect over at the Kia booth. First up will be three production cars including a refreshed Sorento and the new 2014 Kia Forte. Additionally, Kia will unveil the new Cadenza sedan, which will serve as the automaker’s flagship unless the Quoris, which will not be present at the show, enters the U.S. market. Finally, show goers can expect to see two concept cars.
