Feature Flick: Seahawks Fans Destroy Ford Bronco At Scrapyard

We should probably preface this post right now. If you’re a fan of the Seattle Seahawks, you’ll probably love it. If you’re a fan of the Denver Broncos, not so much. But regardless of where your loyalties lie with this weekend’s Big Game, you’ve got to appreciate the spirit shown in this video. Some employees of a Seattle-area scrapyard painted a claw crane to look like the Seahawks’ logo, and painted a tired old junkyard Ford Bronco in blue and orange, and decided to have a little heavy-metal destructive fun.

Area news site and paper, the Bellingham Herald, shared this video through its YouTube channel of guys at the Scrap-It scrapyard symbolically showing what they think will be the outcome of tomorrrow’s game by the creative destruction of an orange and blue-painted 80s-era Ford Bronco. The video starts out with one of the staffers doing a smoky burnout in the Bronco. Once the crane claw starts hovering above, he quickly exits the vehicle, as the carnage begins. The Seahawks-painted claw crane is complemented by a another claw crane in the back, and between the two of them, make short work of the Bronco’s shell in a matter of minutes.

It’s not long until the old Bronco is reduced to a pile of steaming metal rubble. Ironically, a beer bottle seems to have survived the assault relatively unscathed, rolling out from the ruins at around 2:30. Broncos fans, we apologize in advance if we offended you, but you’ve got to admit this is a pretty creative way of showing support for your team.
