Feature Flick: Laguna Seca Corkscrew Claims Latest Victim – Is it a C63 AMG or Ferrari 458?

The two featured videos show a Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG coupe and a Ferrari 458 on the insane Corkscrew turn at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. It’s one of the most intimidating racetrack turns thanks to its quick multi-story drop. One of these cars showcases how sweet it can be if the turn is executed correctly. The other car, unfortunately, is proof of how the turn can literally demolish your ride.

The C63 was driven by AMG Driving Academy’s Reinhold Renger, who decides to increase his chances of crashing by drifting through the entire Corkscrew. Next up is Ryan Ockey, owner of the Ferrari 458 he raced during a recent Ferrari Challenge. Ockey was competing and probably felt some pressure to not end up in the bottom of the rankings. So which driver came out on the losing end of their respective challenge? Watch the videos to see how they perform.
