Feature Flick: Jerry Seinfeld and Ricky Gervais Get Coffee in 1967 Austin Healey

Comedian and car enthusiast Jerry Seinfeld takes fellow comedian but non-car guy Ricky Gervais to get coffee in a 1967 Austin Healey 3000 on the first episode of “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.”

“I really love British sports cars and damn it, I will go down with that ship if I have to,” Seinfeld says while talking about the Austin Healey.

As the comedians travel for coffee, Seinfeld frightens Gervais by making the most of the car’s 150-hp straight-six engine and crashing its suspension over bumps. Gervais says if Seinfeld didn’t have the fame he does, the show should be called “A Man Wants to Drive You Around New York Really Fast in a Death Machine, Laughing.”
