Feature Flick: Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 Laps the Nurburgring in 8:49

392 cubic inches, 470 horsepower, four driven wheels, and a 529-second Nurburgring lap time. The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 doesn’t mess around, and here’s the video to prove it.

The video below is another one of the genre of Nurburgring lap videos, where we can see a professional hoon some high-powered car around the infamous Nordschleife in real time. In this case, the professional driver none other than Sabine Schmitz, dubbed the “Ring Queen,” and the car is the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8.

The pumped-up Jeep has a 6.4-liter Hemi V-8 engine making 470 horsepower, all-wheel drive, and Brembo disc brakes at all four corners. Those features seem to work well on the Green Hell, as Sabine was able to hustle the SRT Jeep around the track in just 8 minutes 49 seconds. That’s pretty impressive for something that can also seat five and tow 5000 pounds.
