Feature Flick: Hennessey’s Supercharged Ram Pickup in Action

Hennessey Performance Engineering is known for making fast cars go faster by car enthusiasts all around the world. But don’t worry, truck fans, this time, the Texas tuning outfit has modified a Dodge Ram 1500 with a TVS2300 supercharger system, giving it power and performance rivaling the legendary Dodge Ram SRT-10.

These videos demonstrate the end result of the HPE550 package upgrade being put to work on the Ram as it screams down the 1/4 at 13.1 seconds going 104 mph, numbers which compare very favorably to Dodge’s (Ram’s) former factory effort. Among the upgrades the standard kit includes is an HPE air induction system and a fuel injector upgrade, available for all 2009-2011 Hemi Ram 1500 trucks.

Options include premium wheel and tire packages to make the truck look even meaner, and if it’s noise you want, high-flow cats are also an option. Hennessey can also raise or lower your suspension depending on what you want as part of HPE550 optional upgrades.

So even though the famed SRT-10 hot hauler may be a part of truck history now, with some help from Hennessey, you can have nearly all the performance in your Hemi-powered Ram.
