Feature Flick: Hennessey Sets Texas Mile World Record in Cadillac CTS-V Wagon

John Hennessey and crew have been cranking out stupid fast cars for two decades. Not only is he the founder of Hennessey Performance; he’s also a client. His daily driver happens to be Cadillac CTS-V pumped up to more than 700 horsepower that he loving refers to as “The Hammer Wagon.”

Hennessey even drove The Hammer Wagon all the way from his Texas headquarters to the grand opening of his new Southern California shop and back home. Saturday, Hennessey participated in the Texas Mile – the infamous standing one mile acceleration test. He managed to set the new world record for Cadillac CTS-Vs.

After the run he filled his 700+ horsepower wagon with pump gas and drove home. Check out the video below to see an inside the cockpit view of the record-setting run.
