Feature Flick: Germans Prefer Toyota Yaris Over Schnick Schnack

Judging by the outlandish German ad for the 2012 Toyota Yaris below, a schnick schnack seems to be frowned upon, should you ever go to Germany and encounter one.

From what we can tell, a schnick schnack is a vehicle (or person) that’s caught up in a jumble of wires, cords, and contraptions. This makes a little bit of sense when an animated pasta maker sits atop the schnick schnack, again emphasizing the mess. As the driver of the schnick schnack appears to be overwhelmed by all the clutter, a woman looks on in shame and enjoys wireless technology in her new Toyota Yaris. The Euro-spec Yaris is available with Bluetooth, navigation, and Toyota Apps Google Local Search.

What a rapping cartoon and puppet have anything to do with a Toyota Yaris though, is beyond us.
