The video starts with a red and a yellow F50 revving up their engines in the type of rundown place you wouldn’t expect to find two of the 349 F50s that Ferrari built. (That’s rarer than the new LaFerrari, of which 499 will be built, by the way). The two F50s then rev their 513-hp 4.7-liter V-12s and take off down dirt- and gravel-covered back roads.
When the two Ferraris meet again, it’s at night in a central square for a final showdown.
The red and yellow F50s are then hooked up to each other’s front tow hooks, each driver selects reverse and the two V-12s scream as each car jockeys for the advantage. Though we can’t imagine that behavior does each car’s clutch any favors, it’s incredibly entertaining to watch. Check out the results for yourself below.
