Feature Flick: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Goes On An Epic European Roadtrip

If you had access to a 2012 Chevrolet Corvette ZR1, where would you take it? Laguna Seca? Route 66? Corvettes at Carlisle? All fair options, but Motor Trend‘s Angus MacKenzie had a better idea: grab contributor and racer/ driving ace Justin Bell, and take the ZR1 on a proper European roadtrip.

Their itinerary should set any car geek’s tongue a-wagging. MacKenzie and Bell pick up the ZR1 in Munich, hit the Autobahn (where they both hit some stratospheric speeds while behind the wheel), wind through the Stelvio Pass on their way to Italy, and swing through Maranello in order to play with a brand new Ferrari 458 Italia. Who needs to go sight-seeing when you could instead wind one of the greatest Vettes over Europe’s best roads?
There’s much more to this trip, but the sights and sounds are best left for you to enjoy – even if by way of a digital video format and not actually riding shotgun.

Stay tuned to the Motor Trend Channel for more original programming updated on a daily basis.
