Feature Flick: Baja Trophy Truck Chases Ford Mustang Boss 302 at the Track

Can a Baja Trophy Truck keep up with a muscle car on the drag strip or race track? In this Feature Flick, Mike Finnegan from Hot Rod magazine decides to find out by taking the off-road racer to Auto Club Famoso Raceway and the big track at Willow Springs International Raceway along with a Ford Mustang Boss 302 and an SVT Raptor to discover which is fastest.

After climbing inside and around the off-road Trophy Truck, Finnegan is amazed at the fabrication work required to build the race truck for the SCORE off-road race series. Next, they take the race truck to the drag strip to see how it compares to a Ford F-150 SVT Raptor and the Ford Mustang Boss 302.

Over at Willow Springs, the modern muscle car and trophy truck were much closer in performance than the off-road racer and the SVT Raptor. Check out the video below to see the off-road trophy truck as it tackles the pavement and find out whether the Mustang or the off-road trophy truck was faster on the drag strip.
