Feature Flick: 2013 Nissan GT-R Barrels Around Monticello

What’s it like to drive a 2013 Nissan GT-R on a race track? Fortunately, we have this video from Nissan to give us a taste of that excitement. The short clip was filmed last weekend, when Nissan hosted the third GT-R Owner’s Experience at Monticello Motor Club in New York.

The video lets us watch from both inside and outside as the Nissan GT-R blasts around Monticello’s 4.1-mile course. The car looks and sounds fast, as it should: for 2013, the Nissan GT-R‘s twin-turbo 3.8-liter V-6 engine was upgraded to produce 545 hp and 463 lb-ft of torque. Coupled with the all-wheel-drive system and six-speed dual-clutch transmission, the 2013 GT-R can reach 196 mph.
