The 2013 Mustang GT’s 5.0-liter V-8 now makes 420 hp and 390 lb-ft of torque — an 8-hp bump from last year’s model. More importantly, the Mustang now gets optional Recaro seats and a performance package, complete with the Boss 302’s Torsen limited-slip diff, Brembo brakes, and upgraded cooling hardware.
Lago takes the Mustang GT to the test track to see if it lives up to the Boss’ reputation as one of the best Mustang’s ever built. After putting the 2013 GT through the performance gauntlet, Lago then heads for the canyons to see how the iconic American muscle car performs in the real world.
