Feature Flick: 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 vs. 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 on Hot Rod Unlimited

On this week’s episode of Hot Rod Unlimited, Freiburger and Finnegan take the two baddest muscle cars ever made, the 2012 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 and 2013 Ford Shelby GT500 for a little road trip to a drag strip in Arizona.

Freiburger and Finnegan start out by installing radar detectors on the Camaro and Mustang. Why? With 1242-hp between the two cars, they’d be foolish not to. The two then set off on their road trip, full of the usual hijinks. After a quick stop at the gas station (the nemesis of both the Camaro ZL1 and Shelby GT500) Freiburger and Finnegan decide to test some of the more practical aspects of the two cars – like the ability to power shift with drinks in the cup holders. You can imagine how well that went.

Check out the newest episode of Hot Rod Unlimited below to watch the guys’ road trip, drag race, and donuts in the desert.
