Feature Flick: Hennessey Venom GT Undergoes Track And Dyno Testing

John Hennessy made his name tuning Dodge Vipers and other high-performance vehicles, but he’s now making headlines by crafting a wicked, 1200-hp Bugatti killer out of what once was a Lotus Exige. That product is the Hennessey Venom GT, and though we’ve seen pictures, specs, and all sorts of details on the beefed-up Britcar, the folks at Hennessey’s firm have now pumped out a couple videos showing the Venom GT undergoing testing.

In addition to a clip of John Hennessey himself describing the Venom GT, another clip shows (former General Motors) test driver John Heinricy as he takes it out for some high-speed laps. Other segments demonstrate the car running on both low-boost (12 psi on 91 octane fuel) and high-boost (20 psi, 93 octane) settings. Enjoy.
