Pricing has been released for the 2011 Ford Mustang DUB Edition, which should roll into dealerships soon.
The package will cost $3699 including a $100 shipping fee for a Mustang that’s bound to become more of a boulevard cruiser than a backroad burner. Added onto the base price of a V-6 2011 Mustang coupe, that brings the base total to $26,694.
For about $3700, the package starts with 20-inch TIS wheels and Pirelli performance tires. Lowering springs are included while a Roush front fascia and splitter make the Mustang more menacing.
A 3.31 rear axle ratio is new too. A six-speed manual or six-speed automatic are available and all three body styles — coupe, convertible, and the glass roof — are offered with the package.
“We’re proud of our relationship with DUB and Roush and how they worked together to bring a new look to Mustang, helping the 2011 DUB Edition Mustang V-6 appeal to a whole new audience,” said Fritz Wilke, Mustang brand manager.
You’ll find the DUB logo embroidered on the front headrest and a DUB stripe package along with a hood scoop.
Like the DUB Editions of the Chrysler 300 and Dodge Charger, the Mustang variant is intended to offer a complete package of factory modifications to a specific style, resulting in a ‘turn-key’ customized vehicle.
The limited edition models will be built through 2012 in four colors: Black, Grabber Blue, Race Red, and Ingot Silver.
