Dodge Debuts New Mopar Apps to Connect With Owners

Dodge’s new Mopar Apps for iPhone, Android, and Blackberry smartphones are said to show how the brand is “better connecting with our Dodge owners, responding to their needs and growing our relationship with them,” says Dodge CEO, Ralph Gilles.

With a download of the free app, owners can access digitized copies of vehicle manuals, customer care, roadside assistance, product demos (with videos), and social media connectivity.

There are also maintenance schedules, vehicle warranty info, service contacts, and links to Mopar paraphernalia.

Customers who pick up a Dodge Durango or Charger, and who also happen to own an iPhone, are already able to download their vehicle specific app. Those with a new Avenger, Journey, or Grand Caravan in their driveways will have to wait until later this month to access it. Users of Android and Blackberry phones will need to have a bit of patience, too.

While it may not be a fully connected, fun, and entertaining smartphone app, it is informative, and for Auburn Hills, it is a step in the right direction.
