Coming Attractions: Pagani Releases Fourth Huayra Preview Video

Unless you’ve shied away from automotive spy photos and YouTube as of late, it’s virtually no secret that the successor to the Pagani Zonda supercar is in its final stages of development. The Italian automaker is continuing its pace of pushing new teaser videos up on YouTube, releasing its fourth short film showcasing the upcoming Huayra supercar.

Unlike the past batch of videos, the new clip appears to focus on the design inspiration for the new AMG-powered supercar. True to its Quechan name, the Huayra’s shape appears to be inspired by the wind.

“We wanted to give shape to the wind,” the automaker says in its latest clip, while a designer sketches previews of the new car. “An energy; subtle, elegant, yet strong and persistent.”

Like the previous three clips, the latest video is rather cryptic, giving us only a basic idea of what Pagani has up its sleeves. Apart from spy photos, the pencil drawing shown here may be one of the best looks at what the new Huayra will look like — previous videos have only shown fine details of various interior and exterior components.

There’s no word on when the last Pagani teaser video — or the Huayra itself — will be unveiled, but given the quick succession of videos recently, we wouldn’t be surprised if Pagani’s latest supercar breaks cover at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
