Chrysler Introduces FLO TV In-Car Television as Dealer Accessory

Want another way to keep the kids occupied while on a road trip? Chrysler has the answer, with a dealer-installed TV system that offers 20 channels of streaming entertainment.

Previous attempts at in-car TV have been either limited in channel selection or ungodly expensive. The FLO TV system is available for $629 and is offered with a full year of complimentary programming. How much is it going to cost me after the year is up, you ask? The service is available at a reasonable $9 monthly access fee. Channels included are CBS, CNBC, Comedy Central, FOX News, MSNBC, MTV, NBC 2Go, and Nickelodeon. The programming allows users of almost any demographic to enjoy the entertainment.

The 7-inch entertainment system can be added to several Chrysler models built after 2008. TV service is available in over 100 metropolitan areas, but signals may be limited in rural regions. The system will be available at dealerships in December, just in time for the holiday rush.
