Chrysler is no stranger to incentives as a method to drive sales. Its latest batch, offering up to $6000 to consumers, helps the automaker target what it believes to be the most important shopping factor: bottom-line price.
First, Chrysler is offering up to $4000 consumer cash on most 2009 model vehicles. Current Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge owners qualify for $1,000 owner loyalty cash that is good towards new 2008 and 2009 vehicles. Finally, qualified buyers can knock an additional $1000 of the price by financing their new vehiclethrough a participating credit union.
All of these incentives add up to a possible $6000 off of a new Chrysler product, which can take a hefty chunk out of a vehicle’s net price. Chrysler would like to remind its customers that thousands of Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge dealers across the United States are still open for business. These incentives last through June 1.
