Chrysler Adds New Merchandise to ‘Imported from Detroit’ Line

Shortly after the success of its 2011 ‘Imported from Detroit’ Super Bowl ad – the two-minute spot featuring Detroit rapper Eminem driving a Chrysler 200Chrysler launched its then all-new ‘Imported from Detroit’ merchandise line. Now the automaker has added new items to the line.

Chrysler has introduced more than 60 all-new items for its ‘Imported from Detroit’ line of clothing and accessories including decals, posters, clothing, outerwear, hats, tote and messenger bags, as well as children’s merchandise.

The ‘Imported from Detroit’ theme continues to generate a conversation throughout this country and we are proud to share that message through this new collection of clothing and accessories,” said Saad Chehab, President and CEO of Chrysler Brand, Chrysler Group LLC, in a press release. “Keeping in the spirit of the campaign, we will continue to donate a portion of our proceeds to four local charities so that they can continue to develop programs and initiatives that contribute to the youth of Detroit and the surrounding communities.”

The four Detroit-area charities include The Boys & Girls Clubs of Southeastern Michigan, Habitat for Humanity Detroit, the Marshall Mathers Foundation (Eminem’s real name), and Think Detroit PAL.

Chrysler says that all of the items from its ‘Imported from Detroit’ merchandise line is made in the USA. The new items are available now on www.IFDstore.com.
