Chevrolet Gives Sneak Peek at Production Camaro Convertible

General Motors announced long ago that Camaro prototypes wouldn’t be camouflaged during testing and has been releasing so-called official spy shots through its FastLane blog. The latest spy shots are of the Camaro convertible and show a black car with the top up and down. We’re happy the convertible is as close to the concept car as the coupe is, and it should turn lots of heads once they start hitting the streets.

The Camaro convertible won’t go into production until late in 2009, but these shots should be enough to keep enthusiasts talking about the General’s pony car for a while longer. There may be a few changes between the looks of this car and the actual production Camaro convertible, but the car should be pretty close to this example.
