Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 Hero Edition to be Raffled off for Charity

If you were looking to buy a Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 but were holding out for a hero, then you’re in luck. General Motors has built a special one-off ZR1 Hero Edition to honor the Kids Wish Network’s “Hero of the Month.”

The ZR1 Hero Edition features some unique touches that set it apart from the rest. It has red accents, special graphics, exclusive emblems, custom embroidery and additional carbon fiber components. One notable accent is the blue cowl covering the supercharged 638-hp LS9 V-8 enginethat has been replaced by a unique red version that is visible through the polycarbonate window in the hood. On the underside of the hood, Corvette Team Members Ray Krawczyk, Harlan Charles and Tadge Juechter have signed their names to ensure the car is truly one-of-a-kind.

The “Hero of the Month” is a child that has faced and overcome traumatic and life-changing circumstances with courage and spirit. The special edition ZR1 will be auctioned off in combination with a Black/Red 1967 Corvette 427/390 hp roadster in the Win The Vette’s Corvette Dream Giveaway. The cost to enter the raffle is only $3 and the drawing will be held on December 23. For more information, go to WinTheVettes.com or call 866-WIN-Both to speak with a representative.
