Is the Brabus S V12 R not wild enough for your tastes? Perhaps the E V12 Black Baron — a highly tuned Mercedes-Benz E-Class — is more to your liking.
Looking much like a four-door Batmobile, the E V12 receives one odd-looking body kit, which includes a custom front fascia, fender vents, side sill extentions, and — oddly enough — rear wheel skirts.
The body parts, however, aren’t the wildest things added to the E V12 Black Baron. The same twin-turbocharged 6.3-liter V-12 used in the S V12 R is stuffed into the E-class’ engine compartment. The engine still pumps out 800 hp, but torque has been electronically limited to 811 lb.-ft.
0-62 mph in 3.7 seconds; 0-124 mph in 9.9 seconds, and 0-186 mph in 23.9 seconds. That 186 mph figure isn’t even the top end – the Black Baron is electronically limited to 217 mph, although Brabus says the car can hits 230 mph if the limiter is deactivated.
Such high performance commands quite a high price. Brabus plans on building only10 examples of the E V12, and each will sell for at least $875,000.
