2006 BMW 650Ci

The 2006 BMW 650Ci will supplant the 645Ci as BMW replaces the latter car’s 4.4-liter V-8 with the same 4.8-liter unit found under the hood of the 750i. This new engine is a bored and stroked version of the old one; it’s good for 360 hp and 360 lb-ft of torque–bumps of 35 hp and 30 lb-ft–and will scoot the 650Ci to 62 mph in 5.4 seconds. Perhaps most impressively, fuel economy improves despite the increase in displacement.
