Bentley Continental Series 51 Models Debut at 2009 Frankfurt Motor Show

In addition to officially revealing its new 2010 Mulsanne, Bentley will use the 2009 Frankfurt motor show to unveil a new line of special-edition Continentals named the Series 51.

Named in honor of the year Bentley’s first styling department was opened, the Series 51 range (the treatment is available on both the Continental GT and GTC) aims to out-class its “lesser” brethren by offering distinctive interior options and unique design cues.

Inside, the Series 51 Continentals will offer diamond-quilted leather surfaces, engine-turned aluminum trim, and a unique “Amboyna” wood veneers. Externally, Series 51 cars sport unique 20-inch wheels, special “Series 51” emblems, and an optional two-tone paint job.
