In order to give its new limited edition DBS Carbon Black a proper introduction in North America, Aston Martin will showcase the car on a seven-city tour.
Announced back in December, the DBS Carbon Black is largely a cosmetic revision of Aston’s already potent DBS. The car’s name stems from the custom “Carbon Black” paint metallic paint. Aston Martin says the color was specially formulated to include a subtle metallic twist, and takes nearly 50 hours of labor to properly apply.
The color scheme continues inside, where the interior is trimmed in obsidian leather, highlighted with silver contrast stitching. Aston also replaced the traditional engine-turned aluminum interior trim with pieces sporting a matching piano black finish.
All Carbon Black models will also be equipped with the premium 13-channel sound system developed by Bang & Olufsen — so we’re not too surprised the audio firm is partnering with Aston Martin to showcase the car at “luxury events” throughout the country. The first two DBS Carbon Editions should be arriving in the country this week, and will appear at the following events.
