All-New Volkswagen Jetta Recalled For Wiring Issues

In an effort to make its vehicles more affordable and accessible to the buying public, Volkswagen radically simplified its sixth-generation Jetta for the United States market.  Unfortunately, the all-new Jetta is the victim of a recall for a wiring glitch.

The Problem: According to Volkswagen, the wiring layout associated with the vehicle alarm and horn is in need of repair. The recall covers all Jetta sedans built from March 2010 through March 2011.

The Fix: Dealers will reconfigure the wiring layout.
