Acura ZDX to Sebring: 21 Hours to the 12 Hours of Sebring

Road test coordinator Mike Ofiara and I are on the road in our Four Seasons Acura ZDX headed to Florida for Saturday’s 12 Hours of Sebring. It’s just 30 minutes to Ohio from Ann Arbor, but we’ve got more than 20 hours in the car ahead of us. A Corvette, Porsche 911, or BMW M3 might have been more appropriate considering our destination, but the ZDX with its cushy cabin and supple ride makes for a fine road-trip machine.

Along with our cameras and peanut butter crackers, we packed our Escort iQ radar detector/nav unit that will both sniff out the 5-0 and point us toward the race track. We’ll be blogging about our trip, the ZDX, the iQ, and the race over the next few days. Let us know if you have any specific questions or interests in the comments and keep checking back at for updates.
