We’ve yet to receive all the details surrounding Acura’s new 2011 TSX Sport Wagon, but we’ll likely to learn a little more later this month, when the stunning family-hauler will officially be launched at the 2010 New York Auto Show.
Like the TSX sedan, the Sport Wagon will again be based off the European-market Accord. We expect the wagon to retain both the base 201-hp, 2.4-liter I-4 and the optional 280-hp, 3.5-liter V-6 found in the sedan, but Acura has yet to confirm any of those details. Some reports suggest the entire TSX range could be overhauled, but seeing as it was just updated in 2009, it’s likely that Acura will simply add its new corporate face to the European wagon.
Look for the 2011 Sport Wagon to reach dealers in late fall. Pricing hasn’t been announced, but it will likely start a couple grand above the sedan’s asking price ($29,310). Stay tuned for more news on the TSX and other New York debuts during our complete show coverage live from the Big Apple.
