2015 Chrysler Town & Country LX Model to Cost Less than $30,000

Between the two Chrysler minivans, the Chrysler Town & Country has always been the more upscale choice. That’s starting to change for 2015 as Chrysler prepares for the demise of the Dodge Grand Caravan, since the Town & Country will soon take over as the company’s sole minivan.

The 2015 Chrysler Town & Country thus adds a new LX trim level that reduces the price of this family hauler, although a specific price tag has yet to be announced. Its expected sub-$30,000 starting price is still a far cry from the bargain-priced Dodge Grand Caravan “American Value Package” which costs just $21,890, but the Town & Country LX should cost significantly less than last year’s base model, the $31,760 Touring model.

The 2015 Chrysler Town & Country LX still comes standard with plenty of features, including power sliding doors, a power liftgate, leather seats, and a backup camera. In addition to the new LX model and the existing Touring, S, Touring-L, and Limited models, the 2015 Town & Country also gains a range-topping Limited Platinum trim. This loaded model has Nappa premium leather, a dual-screen Blu-ray entertainment system, a sunroof, heated front and second-row seats, and the SafetyTec package with all sorts of active safety features.

Stay tuned for full pricing on the 2015 Chrysler Town & Country lineup as we approach this updated minivan’s on-sale date later this fall.
