2014 Honda Crosstour Priced at $28,210

Honda’s awkwardly-styled crossover gets a small price bump for 2014.

After a significant refresh last year, the 2014 Honda Crosstour is unchanged this year, although it does receive a slight price bump to $28,210, up $150 from last year. Originally named Honda Accord Crosstour, as it is essentially a crossover version of the Accord sedan, the model was renamed Honda Crosstour in 2012.

The 2014 Honda Crosstour is available with a choice of a four-cylinder or V-6 engine, and V-6 models offer all-wheel-drive as an option. The 2.4-liter four-cylinder produces 192 hp and 162 lb-ft of torque and mates with a five-speed automatic for EPA ratings of 22/31/25 mpg city/highway/combined. The 3.5-liter V-6, a member of Honda’s “Earth Dreams” powertrain family, was new for the Crosstour last year and produces 278 hp and 252 lb-ft of torque through a six-speed automatic. The V-6 is rated at 20/30/23 mpg for front-wheel-drive models and 19/28/22 mpg city/highway/combined for all-wheel-drive models.

Both four-cylinder and V-6 models come in a choice of three trim levels: EX, EX-L, and EX-L with Navigation. For the four-cylinder models, the EX starts at $28,210; the EX-L starts at $31,895 and adds leather seats, smartphone integration, Honda’s LaneWatch system, a power passenger seat, dual-zone climate control, a backup camera, and heated seats; and the $33,995 EX-L with Navigation adds, unsurprisingly, a GPS navigation system. The V-6 lineup includes the same three trim levels, starting at $31,870 for the EX V-6, $34,520 for the EX-L V-6, and $36,620 for the EX-L V-6 with Navigation. The all-wheel-drive system is available only on EX-L V-6 and EX-L V-6 with Navigation models for $1450.
