Just in case the 2014 Ford F-150 didn’t have enough configurations to begin with, a new combination will be offered for 2014 called the Ford F-150 STX SuperCrew. Ford is offering the STX SuperCrew model to fit in between base XL and XLT trim levels of the four-door SuperCrew cab configuration.
Previously, the STX model was only offered in Regular Cab and SuperCab configurations, and Ford says this new model offers another value-oriented trim level for SuperCrew buyers. The STX SuperCrew comes as standard with a 3.7-liter V-6 producing 302 hp and 278 lb-ft of torque, and a 5.0-liter, 360 hp, 380 lb-ft of torque V-8 is available as an option. The V-6 model will be rear-wheel-drive only, while the V-8 will be four-wheel-drive only.
The STX adds a considerable amount of equipment over the base XL model, including body-colored bumpers, grille, and fascia; cloth seats (replacing vinyl); keyless entry; 17-inch aluminum wheels; cruise control; a CD player; and an audio input jack. An STX Sport Package will also be available for all STX models regardless of configuration, which includes 20-inch wheels, a black grille, black running boards, special cloth seats, and box decals.
The 2014 Ford-F150 STX SuperCrew will start at $34,240, including destination, for the rear-wheel-drive V-6 version, fitting in between the XL and XLT SuperCrew models price-wise (which cost $32,650 and $35,620 including destination, respectively). The four-wheel-drive V-8 STX SuperCrew starts at $38,665.
