2013 Porsche Cayman Configurator Available Online

Last week, Porsche showed off the 2013 Cayman sports coupe in fetching yellow and gray colors. In case neither of those colors matched your tastes, however, we have good news: a configuration tool for the 2013 Porsche Cayman is now available online.
Buyers start by picking between the 2013 Porsche Cayman, with its 275-hp 2.7-liter flat-six engine, or the Porsche Cayman S and its 325-hp 3.4-liter flat-six mill. Next is a choice between a seven-speed PDK dual-clutch or a six-speed manual transmission, followed by color, wheel, and equipment selections.
The configurator tool reveals that, as with other Porsche cars, it’s easy to dramatically increase the price of a 2013 Porsche Cayman. While the base model starts at $53,550 after destination, adding every option available raises the tab to nearly $100,000. Check as many option boxes as possible on the 2013 Porsche Cayman S, and your bill soon rockets from the base price of $64,750 to almost $110,000.
Personally, we’ll take our 2013 Porsche Cayman S with Agate Grey Metallic paint ($710), 19-inch split-spoke wheels ($390) with colored center caps ($185), black leather sports seats, and an assortment of equipment that includes the $900 convenience, $860 parking sensors, $7400 carbon-ceramic brakes, $270 Power Steering Plus and more. It rings in at a relatively modest $77,880.
