2013-2014 Toyota Tacoma Recalled For Broken Valve Springs

Tacoma four-cylinder recalled.

2013-2014 Toyota Tacoma

The Problem: On versions of the 2013-2014 Toyota Tacoma sold with a 2.7-liter inline-four engine, the valve springs may have been produced incorrectly and can crack or break over time. If so, drivers would notice increased engine noise and a loss in power. In severe cases, the engine could stall while the truck is being driven.

The Fix: Toyota will notify owners and replace the affected valve springs for free.

Number Of Vehicles Potentially Affected: 4000 2013-2014 Toyota Tacoma pickup trucks.
