2012 Nissan Rogue Starts at $22,340

The Nissan Rogue garners much less controversy than its more polarizing Juke stablemate. To keep the Rogue fresh, Nissan has announced that the 2012 model will receive a few minor trim changes and a slight price increase of $70. MSRP for a base front-wheel-drive Rogue now starts at $22,340, including destination.

The biggest news for the 2012 Rogue is the loss of the Krom trim package, and the addition of the Special Edition Package, which is a sort of recession special. The Special Edition Package includes 16-inch wheels, a 4.3-inch color display with USB connectivity, XM Satellite Radio, and a rearview camera, all for $1200. Nissan says customers will save $1000 with this package over the cost of those options if purchased individually.  Some other minor additions to the 2012 Rogue include a sport mode, and Nissan’s Around View camera tacked onto the $3900 SL package.

Pricing for the 2012 Nissan Rogue, including the $810 destination fee, are as follows below.

Rogue S CVT FWD – $22,340

Rogue SV CVT FWD – $24,780

Rogue SV CVT w/ SL Package FWD – $28,680

Rogue S CVT AWD – $23,590

Rogue SV CVT AWD – $26,030

Rogue SV CVT w/ SL Package AWD – $29,930
