2008 Nissan Titan Long-Wheelbase

[cars name="Nissan"]‘s truck line is under a lot of pressure this year, with appealing new pickups and SUVs coming from not only the American brands, but Toyota too. The Titan isn’t ready for a full overhaul yet, but a few changes will be coming when the ’08 Titan goes on sale this spring. New seats and a new gauges will find a home in the Titan’s cabin, as will options including Bluetooth, a heated leather bench seat, and a bigger, eight-inch navigation screen.

The bigger news is on the outside where, behind a new grille, the Titan has been stretched to create a new long wheelbase model. Ever since it’s introduction, the Titan has been criticized for having a bed too short for many hard working Americans. In response to Chevrolet‘s Z71 package, Nissan has also added the PRO-4X model to “enhance Titan’s already strong reputation as the truck of choice for work or adventure.” And, lest we forget, Nissan has reminded us that the Titan’s 5.6-liter V-8 is E85 capable.
