2006 Honda Remix Concept

It’s been a long time since Honda‘s last small, sporty hatchback–the CRX–went away, and we’ve been missing it ever since. Even though this Sport Concept isn’t destined to form the basis of a new CRX, we can still dream, right?

The Remix Concept was designed at Honda’s design studio in California, and is powered by a four-cylinder engine mated six-speed manual transmission. It has a “track-tuned sport suspension” and aggressive brakes, but Honda emphasizes that its small dimensions are perfect for in-town use. That balance between sport and practicality matched with Honda reliability was what we liked most about the CRX way back when–and we can only hope that Honda’s thinking what we’re thinking.
