Subaru Outback

Fuji Heavy Industries used the Frankfurt show for an unlikely debut of its new, 2005 Outback wagon, perennial darling of American Subaru dealerships. Within that good-looking wrapper lurks faultless eronomics, new levels of material and assembly quality, and a couple of familiar engines: The 2.5-liter horizontally opposed four and the 3.0-liter horizontally opposed six.
