2009 Honda Hybrid Sports Car

Research A Vehicle

Go
The Honda Small Hybrid Sports Concept was designed at Honda's European R&D studio in Offenbach, Germany, and we're betting that it was a bunch of Germans who came up with the, um, clever name. Luckily, the rest of the car isn't quite as bland. The SHSC is based on a small, front-wheel drive platform, and uses a gasoline/hybrid system and a continuously variable transmission. This is the second concept from Honda this year that reminds of the dearly departed CRX, and we're keeping our fingers crossed that a sports car of this size makes it to production. With its short overhangs, and one-piece glass roof, a production version of this car--with the right engine of course--would really get our juices flowing.
