ON SALE: NOVEMBER 2007 / $84,775 In addition to the A4 and S4 cabriolets, Audi is now adding the RS4 convertible for 2008. Audi's quickest sun-seeker comes with the same 420-hp, 4.2-liter V-8 screamer that we know and love from the RS4 sedan and the R8 supercar. The cabriolet not only gets all the RS4 sedan goodies, including a six-speed manual, Dynamic Ride Control, wider front fenders, and leather sport seats, but it also adds that car's premium package content as well. Essentially, the only options are no-cost choices, so the car is fully equipped, as well it should be for nearly $85,000 out the door. The RS4 cabriolet will be a rare beast, as only about 300 are earmarked for the American market in this, its sole model year. Both the RS4 sedan and cabrio will take a hiatus for 2009, when the all-new A4 debuts.
