It was a very different automotive landscape in American circa 2005. Gas was cheap(er), the economy was humming and body-on-frame trucks and SUVs were all the rage. With increasing numbers of people swapping their sedans for trucks to handle daily driving duties, Honda's innovative, refined and capable Ridgeline seemed like a good idea.
