2011 honda accord Reviews and News

2011 Honda Accord
2011 Honda Accord
The Accord from Honda has been one of their staple models for many years and is the also one of the strongest performers in the Honda sedan lineup. This sedan continues to be a very fierce competitor in the family sedan market and the 2011 model no different. This new Accord is still very affordable and takes advantage of some very clever engineering to make the most of the interior dimensions. This vehicle comes in a sedan or coupe model and both serve as a very high quality driving machine.

The Honda Accord comes with the 4 cylinder model in the base model but there is a 6 cylinder engine option. The standard transmission is the tried and true 5 speed manual, but there are options on both the coupe and the sedan have an optional 6 speed automatic too. There is a wide variety of options available on the Honda Accord and just as many internal options, upgrades and more if you are interested in the higher trim packages.

The interior and exterior of the Honda Accord have been completely remodeled for 2011 and these changes to make a noticeable cosmetic improvement. The 2011 Accord offers a lot of features for its price range and is a solid investment with some of the highest resale value in its class.
Ford Fusion Rear Silver
Ever since Ford launched the Fusion midsize family sedan in 2006, sales have continued to climb. The automaker estimates that when year-end sales numbers are in, the company will have sold 240,000 Fusions in 2011 – which would make it the Fusion's best sales year ever. “Since launching in the 2006 model year, Fusion has reinforced Ford’s commitment to the midsize sedan market,” said Samantha Hoyt, Fusion marketing manager, in a press release. “Recognized as a Best Buy every year since launch, Fusion is a key contributor to Ford’s car renaissance.” The automaker says the Fusion has gained market shares every year since it was launched. When it debuted in 2006, it held 6.7 percent of the midsize segment; by 2010, its market share rose to 11.9 percent. Ford sold 142,502 and 219,219 Fusions in 2006 and 2010, respectively. The automaker claims that the Toyota Camry and Honda Accord sales were down 27 percent and 20 percent, respectively, during the same time period. However, through November 2011, Toyota sold 275,004 Camrys, and Honda sold 217,958 Accords. When it comes to total volume, it seems Ford's close to bypassing its Japanese rivals, but still a bit short of that goal. Sales of the Ford Fusion have been up 13 of the past 14 months, and volumes were able to surpass the 200,000 car mark within the first 10 months of 2011. By the end of November, Fusion sales totaled 226,445, besting 2010 as the nameplate's highest sales year to date. Will the momentum continue? Perhaps so -- an all-new model is just around the corner for the 2013 model year. Expect more details on the 2013 Fusion to emerge shortly, as Ford will debut its latest midsize fighter in January at the 2012 Detroit auto show. Source : Ford
Nissan Transport Truck Oakland Bay Bridge
Nissan is not shy about poking fun of its competitors. Just look back a few months ago at its ad calling the Chevy Volt out on its gas-powered range-extender. Nissan is back at it again, but this time it’s giving Honda a hard time for its supply-related issues.
2011 Lexus Rx 350 Front Three Quarter
June was a mixed picture for the three largest Japanese automakers. Both Toyota and Honda were off approximately 24 percent, compared to June of last year. Nissan fared slightly better, gaining 11.4 percent over May 2011.
Joe Million Mile Accord 3
With the constant fluctuation of fuel prices many of us try reduce the miles we drive by consolidating our trips or car-pooling. But for many who drive for a living, this isn’t possible. “Joe” of Norway, Maine has been driving for work for almost 15 years and has racked up a ton of miles on his car -- that’s right, Joe has been using the same car since the mid-1990s.

As predicted, the March 2011 earthquake in Japan continues to have a lingering effect on sales for the top three Japanese automakers. May sales figures for Japanese car companies in the U.S. are in, and although many have made inroads towards a full recovery, the numbers speak volumes about the prolonged effect the natural catastrophe has on their bottom line.
