A nice academic exercise but totally useless in the real world.
Electric power is ill-suited for any vehicles other than forklifts because of battery weight/mass/size.

Petroleum power is ill-suited for any vehicle because it inevitably damages the livability of the world. Adapt or die.

I've been interested in the Aptera for a long time, back when they were concentrating on a small gas engine for it. Two questions: What is the range of the 2e before recharging and what is the recharging time?  This is only a 2-seater so it isn't designed for families. Seems to be mostly for commuting to work and situations not requiring luggage space.

Is there room for more than 2 people?  (Not a family car.)  Is there sufficient luggage space?  (Not a shopping car.)  With reduced purchasing power and conservation of energy and materials, most people would not consider buying a third, purpose built commuter car.
