Ford Vs Chey Tug Of War Video 3
What better way to prove your brand’s dominance than by challenging your home-made monster truck to your buddy’s backyard-built monster truck to a tug-of-war? At least the guys in this video thought that would be the best way to find out. Without spoiling all the fun, we’ll let you watch the video yourself, but guess which truck broke first before watching the video below.
2011 Ford F 350 Towing
If you thought the truck wars were cooling down, think again. Today Ford announced upgrades to its 2011 F-350, and F-450 Heavy Duty trucks with dual-rear wheels and the automaker’s 6.7-liter turbo-diesel V-8 will be able to tow 17,500 pounds, more than any other offering in the segment.

Another sign of the times. As Americans' waistlines expand, the race to create the biggest and most powerful automobiles (800 pound-feet of torque for your Super Duty?) may not just be about bragging rights. The increased power may be able to help municipalities transport larger patients in ambulances.

Earlier today, we heard that Ford may be increasing the output from its all-new Power Stroke diesel engine -- but do consumers really need 800-plus pound-feet of torque?

All hope for an armistice in the pickup truck power wars appears to have been pushed out of a seventh-story window. Although General Motors currently has bragging rights over Ford and Dodge (er, Ram), it seems Ford is fervently working on a few small revisions that could once again crown it king of the hill.
