Nissan will offer a Murano SUV two-door convertible Although it may polarize opinion, Nissan has given the go-ahead to a two-door, convertible version of its redesigned 2011 Murano SUV.

Dodge Charger Pursuit package previewed Dodge will rejoin the race to perfect the police cruiser with the its redesigned 2012 Charger sedan. It will join the Chevrolet Caprice PPV and a potential entry from Carbon Motors.

China's ten-day traffic jam begins...and mysteriously ends A ten-day traffic backup that spanned nearly 60 miles clogged one of China's major thoroughfares. The jam, which began last week, seemed to miraculously end on its own late this week.

Chevrolet celebrates 75 years of Suburbans At a media event this week, Chevrolet presented carefully maintained examples of its collection of Suburban sport-utility vehicles. The nameplate turned 75 in 2010, and was marked by the introduction of the Diamond Edition model.

Audi A1 is going global, but is still not for the U.S. Fans of premium small cars got another kick in the gut this week, when Audi announced that its smallest offering will be sold outside Europe ... but not in the United States. The A1 goes on sale in Europe, officially, today.

Paris Motor Show preview This week, we learned about some of the upcoming, highlighted models that will debut at the Paris Motor Show next month. The standouts include Chevrolet's Cruze-based Orlando MPV, and a Honda Fit/Jazz hybrid that will not be sold in the United States.
