2010 Automobile Of The Year Awarded

Thanks to its advances in technology and pioneering spirit, we bestowed our annual Automobile of the Year award to the 2011 Chevrolet Volt. Due to its elegant styling inside and out, Jaguar's 2011 XJ is the winner of our Design of the Year award. Man of the Year honors went to the legendary Ferdinand Piech, in part for his years of building the Volkswagen Group into the empire it is today. Although it has yet to be fully utilized by the masses, electric propulsion is the recipient of our Technology of the Year award.

First Drives: 2011 Dodge Charger and 2011 Durango

Sure we've seen the spec sheet for the refreshed 2011 Charger and the all-new 2011 Dodge Durango, but it wasn't until this week that we were able to snag some quality seat time in the two. Based on the same architecture that underpins its sibling 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee, the Durango's new interior and sleek exterior styling may help it become a true contender in its class. Likewise, the cosmetic tweaks and interior makeover bestowed upon the 2011 Charger will go a long way in helping Dodge's muscular sedan remain relevant in today's market.

First Look: 2012 BMW 6 Series
